The Tipperary Credit Union is sposoring this year St. Patrick’s festival weekend in Tipperary Town, we have our parade on Friday 17th and our family funday along with food and craft day on Saturday the 18th on the Kickham Plaza.Tipperary Credit Union are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and the theme of this years parade is “Celebrating Everything Good About Tipperary”. We are joined on the reviewing stand this year by her excellency Kristi Karelsohn, Ambassador Of Estonia and we also have our special guest of honor Hanna McGrath who has served Tipperary Town and the St. Patrick’s Day committee for 15 years. The CAnon Hayes Recreation Centre will hold their february draw from the reviewing stand at 2pm first prize a Ford Ka or €13000.There are over 80 different groups  in this years parade. On saturday the 18th of March our family funday and foodmarket runs from 11 am until 3pm on the Kickham Plaza. We have local food and craft stalls street entertainment from Boggle (balloon modelling,face painting and circus skills workshop). Entertainment from Lattin Comhaltais and the Dr O Hurley pipe band. From 1pm until 2pm we are running a fancy dress competition for children with prizes for under8s, under12s, and best overall.We will also be announcing the winner of the best dressed window winner at the Saturday event.
