The Tipperary Town Festival took place over two fantastic weekends, bringing huge crowds and an unforgettable atmosphere to the town. The festival marquee at Bank Place hosted a series of outstanding nights of music, with sell-out performances from headline acts Mark McCabe and Nathan Carter, while fan favourites The Whistlin’ Donkeys drew a massive crowd for the closing Sunday night. The event has been widely praised as a huge success, celebrating music, community and entertainment across both weekends.

There was truly something for everyone across the two festival weekends, with crowds dancing the night away to great performances from Mike Denver and ABBAesque. Families also enjoyed plenty of entertainment, as Giggles Entertainment brought magical fun and excitement to the Kids Disco. Meanwhile, the “Strolling Down Memory Lane” event created many special moments, with music by Eddie Golden and Bob O’Brien storytelling.

A huge thank you must go to the entire festival team, especially music promoter John O’Brien and festival board members Stevie O’Donnell, Sharon O’Dwyer and Stephen Ryan, who dedicated countless hours to organising and delivering two outstanding weekends of entertainment for the community.

Local talent also played a major role in this year’s success, with performances from Ellie Peters and High Times helping to warm up the crowds, while DJ Richie and DJ Timmy Clarke kept the party atmosphere going long into the night.

A special word of thanks must go to all of the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to the festival.
