Winner of the 2023 Best Christmas Window was Nellie O’Briens pub. Nellie O’Briens pub, which is run by Michael O’Brien, always has such a wonderful outdoor display thought the year. It is at Christmas time however, the public house really stands out with such a fabulous lights display which really elevated the Main Street. Michael was presented with the winning piece of Tipperary Crystal by Ann Whelan of Joe Whelans.

The Tipperary Tidy Towns also gave notable mentions to the Tipperary Curtain Shop on Michael Street. Tipperary Curtain shop run by Dolores Bourke, has been in Tipperary Town for 30 years. Dolores’s daughter Mena creates the beautiful windows for the shop.
McMahon Shoes on Main Street also was given high praise by the Tidy Town team. In the photo below Siobhan Cronin received her bouquet for her wonderfully festive display. Siobhan always creates a fantastic display for McMahon Shoes owned by William Kinane.

This was the second year of the Christmas Window competition organised by the Tipperary Town Marketing Group. The competition is judged by the Tipperary Tidy Towns Group. Last years winner was Maureen Walsh with her display in Wellworths window.
