Join us on November 29th for our annual Christmas Market and Christmas Lights Switch.
This year the annual Tipperary Town Christmas Market will be in the Market Yard, from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday November 29th. We will have lots of local stalls with beautiful gifts for Christmas. We have Galtee Glow candles, Knitting by Jo, Colourful Crystals, Happy Hen Jams, Agnes O’Dea Jewellery, a stall with gorgeous children’s books, Catriona Kenny Prints, and sweet treats for the kids.
We also have local favourites My Street Food (My Tasty) bringing you delicious food, and Bunda Burgers are back with their famous smash burgers.
Our special guest to switch on the lights this year is Kate Sheehan. Eleven year old Kate is a wonderful young girl who has been through a lot since she was born. Kate has had multiple medical conditions including mitochondrional disorder, failure to thrive, peg fed, juvenile arthritis, autism and heart conditions. Kate spends a lot of time in hospital in Limerick and Dublin, which can be very stressful. When Kate was told she is Switching on the Lights she was thrilled. We can’t wait to celebrate a wonderful magical day she will never forget.
A massive thank you goes out to those who put up the lights on the coldest night of the year so far.
