Last Friday, December 15th, was the first ever Tipperary Town night time Christmas Market. It was a fantastic night with a huge crowd turning out. The event brought a great sense of community and festive cheer in the lead up to Christmas. DJ Francis had the marquee bopping with a Christmas disco, and Creative Places had an arts and crafts stall for children, and face painting by Faith and Charley Ryan.

Congratulations to the Raffle Winners on the night in aid of the Tipperary Town Lions Club. Tomass Spunde won our top prize, a GIANT teddy bear and our second prize winner Siobhan Hallissey who won a beautiful hamper full of goodies, thanks to Bennetts Supervalu for this prize.

Great credit is due to the voluntary organisers Anne Hadnett (Pattys Flower Shop), Sharon O’ Dwyer (Tipperary Music Festival) Ann Whelan (Joe Whelans) Siobhan Hyland-Ryan (Danny Ryans Music Shop) and Myriam Quinn (My Tasty) and special mention to the Tipperary Town Festival and Doireann O’Meara.
