SUMMARY:National Drawing Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:\n Creative Places is delighted to be part of National Drawing
Day again in 2026!\n\n\nJoin Wendy Austin-Rawlings and be introduced to th
e simple but effective technique of Iris Folding on Saturday\, May 16.\n\n
\n You may ask what iris folding is. It is a journey from drawing into mak
ing\, bringing pattern and design to life through paper. Working with simp
le folded strips\, we explore rhythm and visual flow to build layered circ
ular compositions\, where drawn-like patterns emerge through colour\, shap
e\, and form \n\n\nNo experience is required\; if you can fold a piece of
paper and stick it down\, you can do this! You will come away with a uniqu
e greeting card to send wishes to someone special and the skills to make y
 our own at home\, even with recycled materials \n\n\n Saturday\, 16th May\
 n 2pm\n Creative Places Tipperary Town\, 1 Bridge St\, Tipperary Town\, E3
4 XY99 \n Only 8 spaces are available. Please secure your space just DM us
 \, or simply email creative.places@youthworktipperary.ie \n\n\nAbout Wendy
:\n\n\nWendy is a visual artist\, experienced crafter and teacher\, and ha
s been papercrafting for nearly 25 years. She has published cards in two o
f the largest card-making magazines in the UK. She continues to work with

te unique artwork that she sells worldwide.\n
