Two weeks tonight we will see the start of the Tipperary Town Music Festival.
It was a good few months ago when I was asked by the chairperson Eamon Ryan to join the original committee and I must say they are definitely the hardest working people I have ever worked with for any festival and it’s great that everyone has been so supportive of this project.
Committee member John O Brien Obs Kilross
It has been very busy organising the band’s for this music festival and it’s probably going to be the biggest music festival ever to be held in Tipperary town.
It’s great to see such big names appearing on stage over the four nights and it’s also great to see local lady Dee Morrissey from Bansha taking to the stage to showcase her talents.
People will be travelling to the four night music festival from many parts of the country, in fact i know of people travelling from England to see the wonderful Abbaesque on Saturday night.
Car Parking.
There are plenty of free parking options in the town each night of the concerts for example, the Market Yard car park, James Street car park, Post Office car park, Abbey Street car park and Bank Place car park all of which will be sign posted.
It’s very important to stress that there is NO parking in Lidl car park for concert goers, parking in Lidl car park is STRICTLY for customers shopping in the store ONLY.
